Gladstone Regional Council hosts its annual Australia Day Awards and Citizenship Ceremony on the eve of Australia Day to recognise and reward members of the local community who have a consistent record of excellence, have made outstanding achievements in their field, and/or have contributed significantly to the growth and development of sport, community events, arts and cultural life in the region.
It is at the discretion of Council as to whether an award is presented in all categories.
Nominations for Gladstone Regional Council's 2017 Australia Day Awards are now open.
If you know a person, community group or organisation dedicated to making the Gladstone Region a better place, please help us recognise their efforts and nominate them for an Australia Day Award.
