Council and Community Events

Council has developed a Gladstone Regional Events Strategy 2019 – 2024 to strengthen the region’s profile and position as a nationally recognised event destination.

Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Gladstone Regional Council has been monitoring and responding appropriately regarding the ongoing Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, with our priority being the safety of the community and our people.

In compliance with COVID-19 Safe rules and under Queensland Health Directive we are beginning to recommence some of our public programs and events. For more information on what’s on follow us on Facebook.

Council will continue to follow health advice from Queensland Health and directions from the Queensland and Australian Governments.

Restrictions are in place regarding number of patrons allowed in Council facilities at any one time to ensure we can maintain social distancing.

We ask that visitors do not attend our facilities if you; have returned from overseas or a COVID-19 hotspot in the last 14 days, have cold or flu like symptoms, have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days. Interactions will be done as quickly and efficiently as possible to minimise face to face contact.

If you see people not adhering to restrictions, please contact Council on 4970 0700 or contact 13QGOV (13 74 68).
