Community Engagement Centre Open
Gladstone Regional Council has been monitoring and responding appropriately regarding the ongoing Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, with our priority being the safety of the community and our people.
In compliance with COVID-19 Safe rules and under Queensland Health Directive we are beginning to recommence some of our public programs and events. For more information on what’s on follow us on Facebook.
Council will continue to follow health advice from Queensland Health and directions from the Queensland and Australian Governments.
When visiting a Council facility you will be required to complete an online or physical form for contact tracing purposes.
Restrictions are in place regarding number of patrons allowed in Council facilities at any one time to ensure we can maintain social distancing.
We ask that visitors do not attend our facilities if you; have returned from overseas or a COVID-19 hotspot in the last 14 days, have cold or flu like symptoms, have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days. Interactions will be done as quickly and efficiently as possible to minimise face to face contact.

Community Engagement Centre
The Community Engagement Centre (CEC) is the centralised contact point to access information and advice on a range of services, activities and resources. All services provided are non-judgemental and confidentially is assured. Community engagement and development unites the efforts of people to bring about change, develop projects, participate in local activities and take part in the community.
CEC also provides a free venue for meetings, seminars and workshops for non-profit groups and organisations.

As of 1 July 2020, the Community Engagement Centre no longer facilitates the Gladstone Community Legal Program. Please contact Central Queensland Community Legal Centre on 1800 155 121 for bookings and enquiries.
The Community Engagement Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8.15am to 5pm, excluding public holidays.
