1080 Baiting Program - April 2026

Gladstone Regional Council will be commencing the first round of its biannual 1080 baiting program to control invasive pest animals such as wild dogs and feral pigs on rural properties within the region.  

Please be advised of the following dates and locations for the baiting program:  

Miriam Vale Service Area  

  • 8am, Tuesday 14 April - Gravel Pit on Lowmead Rd, Colosseum 

Other Areas  

  • 8am, Wednesday 15 April - Tableland Road Gravel Pit, Calliope 

  • 12pm, Wednesday 15 April - Galloway Plains Rd, Mt Alma 

  • TBA, Thursday 16 April - Mount Larcom, TBA 

If you are interested to participate in the 1080 baiting program, please be advised of the following key dates:  

  • Expressions of Interest by 5pm, Friday 8 April.
