All activities start at the Visitor Centre

Monday 14th April

10am to 11am - Easter Card Making
Come and make your own Easter card. Ages 5 and up - Free

Tuesday 15th April

10am to 11am - Make and Easter Egg Basket
Make your own Easter Basket so the Easter bunny has somewhere to put yur eggs when he visits you.
Ages 5 and up - Free

Wednesday 16th April

10am to 11.30am - Easter Egg Hunt
Come have fun and get creative as you get to decorate your own Easter eggs.
Ages 5 and up - Free

Thursday 17th April

10am to 11am - Easter Egg hunt
Make your own bunny ears and then hop around the gardens to see where the Easter Bunny has been and what he's left behind!
All ages - Free

Free Guided Walks Free Guided Walks

Join us for a gentle stroll through the most picturesque sections of the Gardens.  Along the way you'll learn about the history behind the Gardens as well as ecosystems from the local Port Curtis Region and Tropical North Queensland.

Tours run every Thursday 10am-11:30am departing from the Visitors Centre.

*Tours are automatically cancelled in wet weather and on Public Holidays.

 PLEASE NOTE Thursday 31st October 2013 is the last guided walk for the year and tours will resume April 2014.

The Visitor Centre offers brochures, maps, information on the facilities and attractions at Tondoon Botanic Gardens. When visiting the Gardens we recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes, hat, sunscreen and mozzie repellent.

2014 Art Exhibition

The works of nine local artists will add a splash of colour to the Gladstone Tondoon Botanic
Gardens Visitor Centre this year.

The exhibitions are linked either to environmental conservation and preservation; children's environmental education; promoting the environment for future generations; or are directly inspired by Gladstone Tondoon Botanic Gardens.

Children's Trail Children's Trail

Hey kids come and explore the gardens with the Children's Trail. 

The Banksia Butterfly character in the booklet will take you on a walk through the gardens where you get to learn lots about the flora & fauna in the gardens.  The tour is self guided and you will need to bring an adult with you.

Collect your booklet and pencils from the Visitors Centre during normal opening hours.

Hey kids come on a magical adventure and help Trutton head of the Magical Wildlife Protection Agency save The Hidden Park.

We recommended that the game be downloaded prior to coming to the Gardens from the iTunes App store.
