Owl Journeys

Come follow the journey of Tondoon's Barking Owls during September. Starting on September 1st, visitors to the Garden's gallery will be able to view artwork by children and local artists that feature our beautiful owls.

Various events involving this display will be held throughout the month, including an official opening which will take place on Sunday, September 7th. This will include a storytelling at 10:30am and an "owl walk" through the gardens that follows the exciting story of the owls.

Other storytelling sessions will be available on Saturday the 13th and 20th at 10:30am. The children's book featured in these sessions will be available for purchase, allowing families to bring the story home with them.

For those wanting to learn more about the creation of the project, a workshop will be held on September 16th for educators and other interested parties. Please note that bookings are essential, as spaces are limited.

This project is proudly sponsored by QGC's Sustainable Communities Fund.

Collect your booklet from the Visitors Centre during normal opening hours.

For the young and young at heart, come on a magical adventure and help Trutton, head of the Magical Wildlife Protection Agency, save The Hidden Park.

We recommended that the game be downloaded prior to coming to the Gardens from the iTunes App store.
