Trade Waste Management Plan
The Trade Waste Management Plan is a document designed to provide an environmentally sustainable liquid waste disposal service for commercial and industrial waste in a manner which safeguards public health and environment, and is consistent with Council’s responsibilities and obligations under Queensland Legislation. All generators and property owners must comply with the requirements outlined in the trade waste management plan.
Discharge categories have been developed for approval and charging purposes for the below categories:

For Category A and B discharges where a trade waste meter is not installed, the volume of trade waste will be estimated by multiplying the water consumption of the property by a discharge factor. Discharge factors are specific to industry and are contained in the table attached.
