The Supported Accommodation Assistance Program (SAAP) is funded by Department of Communities and the crisis housing properties are funded by Department of Housing and Public Works

These programs are administered by Gladstone Regional Council's Community Advisory Service to provide accommodation with support services to families with dependent children who are homeless, at risk of homelessness and in crisis.

The Same House Different Landlord Program (SHDL) is administered by Gladstone Regional Council's Community Advisory Service with transitional housing properties provided by Department of Housing and Public Works to house families with dependent children that are eligible and listed for social housing.

The program provides properties to community organisations for renting to tenants who may need support to establish and manage a tenancy.  When a vacancy occurs eligible tenants from crisis housing are transferred or referrals are received from the area office.

(Gladstone and Miriam Vale)

The Long Term Community Housing Program (LTCHP) is administered by Gladstone Regional Council's Community Advisory Service and has seniors units at Gladstone and Miriam Vale to provide independent accommodation for senior's eligible and listed for Social Housing through Department of Housing and Public Works.

Applications for senior units completed at Department of Housing and Public Works area office at 147 Goondoon Street, Gladstone.  When a vacancy occurs, eligible referrals will be obtained from area office.

The Tenant Advice and Advocacy Service (TAAS) is funded by Department of Housing and Public Works and administered by Gladstone Regional Council's Community Advisory Service to assist tenants and residents establish and maintain their tenancies by understanding their rights and responsibilities under the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Act 2011.

The program provides advice, information and advocacy on questions about residential tenancies to people within the Gladstone region.  There is also a twelve month outreach service offered monthly to Biloela, Moura and Monto.  Educational programs are provided to High Schools and Community Groups as requested.
