Gladstone Regional Council operates several community halls throughout the region - at Calliope, Lowmead, Mt Larcom and Miriam Vale. Details on these are provided below. Council also publishes details on the non-Council operated halls in its annual Community Services Directory which is available in booklet form from the Community Advisory Service in Goondoon Street, Gladstone (next to the art gallery and museum). > RSL Hall Calliope

The RSL Hall Calliope is a large hall catering for up to 200 people. It has a polished timber floor, ceiling fans and basic kitchen and bar facilities. Male, female and disabled toilets are located within the hall and there are also public toilets located in the grounds. Disabled access is available. No private parties are permitted on the premises. There is a permanent stage at the rear of the hall with a piano and organ and dressing rooms either side. Furniture comprises an assortment of unmatched tables and chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, domestic fridge, stove (four burner) and wall mounted urn. The bar is equipped with a fridge.Tea towels and washing up liquid are not supplied.

> Lowmead Hall

Lowmead Hall is a medium hall with disabled access, a timber flood and basic kitchen facilities. Male, female and disabled toilets are located in the grounds. There is a permanent stage along the back wall of the ball. The furniture comprises an assortment of unmatched tables and chairs and the kitchen is equipped with a domestic fridge, four burner upright stove and portable urn. Tea towels and washing up liquid are not supplied.

> Mt Larcom Hall

Mt Larcom Hall is a large hall catering for 120 people. It has polished timber flooring, ceiling fans, basic kitchen and bar facilities and toilets within the hall. There is a permanent stage area along the back wall of the all.

Furniture comprises:

• 125 chairs
• 15 tables of various dimensions

The kitchen is equipped with two (2) microwave ovens, two (2) domestic fridges, a four burner upright stove, limited bench space, two (2) portable urns, a baine marie and an assortment of unmatched china and cutlery. The bar is equipped with a domestic fridge and large esky. Tea towels and washing up liquid are not supplied.

> Yarwun Hall

Yarwun Hall is a large hall with a polished timber floor and basic kitchen facilities. Toilets are located within the hall. There is a permanent stage at the rear of the hall. The furniture comprises an assortment of unmatched tables and chairs.The kitchen is equipped with a domestic fridge, four burner upright stove and two (2) portable urns. Tea towels and washing up liquid are not supplied.
