Sadly, drowning is the greatest cause of accidental death in children, aged under five in Australia.

Gladstone Aquatic Centre offers a progressive 'Learn to Swim' program from babies to squad level.

Lessons are available for children aged six months through to levelled lessons, stroke developmen and squad training.

Lessons are held every week day between 9am and 6pm in the indoor heated Sister Kenny Memorial Pool at the Gladstone Aquatic Centre.

* Indoor pool is closed for aquatherapy sessions from 9am to 1pm Monday & Friday, and also from 12 noon to 2pm on Wednesdays. 


Winter:

Please note: The Gladstone Aquatic Centre will be closed on Good Friday, Christmas Day and opens at 12 noon on New Years Day and Anzac Day.

A joint venture between Gladstone Regional Council and Gladstone Aquatic Centre. Between 8.00am to 9.00am aged persioners can use The Aquatic Centre for free to assist those older members of our community to stay fit and active.
