A local company “Amarna” has created “Activation” a personal goal setting and weekly programmer to support individuals in getting active.
The aim of the weekly activity diary is to increase motivation to undertake physical activity every day. Physical activity can take many forms and can be included in normal every day activities.

Idea for Getting Active
'Frisbee Golf', a Healthy Active Gladstone Region initiative, is played much like traditional golf however instead of a ball and clubs players use a flying disc (Frisbee). The sport was formalised in the 1970s and shares with 'ball golf' the object of completing each hole in the fewest number of strokes (or in the case of disc golf, fewest number of throws).
