The Gladstone Region Envronmental Advisory Network (GREAN) will host its annual Environmental Forum on May 29 at CQUniversity Australia's Gladstone Marina campus.

The theme this year is, 'Water: Essential to Life', developed around the importance of managing our water resources for the future.

Keynote speaker highlight:

Environmentalist, film-maker and photographer Tim Silverwood will be this year's Keynote speaker at the GREAN 2012 Environmental Forum at CQUniversity Gladstone campus on May 29.

Mr Silverwood is devoted to raising awareness of marine debris and reducing plastic waste in the ocean.

He will be presenting his documentry 'Bag it' and speaking on 'A clean beach initiative: The growing problem of Marine Debris in the world's oceans and the changes necessary to tackle it'.
