Sport & Recreation Census 2016
Council recognises that all clubs are important for our community, its health and wellbeing and are a great environment for people to start playing sport regularly.
However, Council acknowledges that there can be challenges; whether it is a decline in membership numbers or recruiting enough volunteers to keep the club going.
To assist Council, so that we can assist you, we have launched a short census to find out more about the issues that are currently affecting the health of our community sport and recreation clubs in the Gladstone Region - from how many members you have, to what facilities you may need in the future.
Council is seeking a snap shot of our community sporting landscape so we can provide the best information, service and guidance and to develop resources tailored to the needs of people running community sport.
The completed census is due NOW. Please return you census as soon as possible to the sport & recreaiton office.
A sporting club Secretary is encouraged to complete the census with the club's executive committee, registrar and as many other committee members as possible at their next scheduled committee meeting.
Please email your completed census form to firstname.lastname@example.org or mail a hardcopy to Sport & Recreation, PO Box 29, Gladstone, QLD, 4680.
