Opened seven days a week, the Boyne Tannum Community Centre offers a multi-use facilicity, providing residents easy access to a wide range of services. The complex houses a Rural Transaction Centre, Library, and several rooms for hire across three buildings.

>Rural Transaction Centre

Open Monday to Friday, with receipting available from 9am to 4.45pm, the centre provides financial transactions for all council services, supplies up-to-date information, and customers may collect and lodge applications for processing by specific departments.

>Library 

The Boyne Libary is part of the Gladstone Regional Libraries, which includes Gladstone, Calliope, Mt Larcom, Miriam Vale and Agnus Waters. This library prodimantly has 'lesuire reading' available for loan, but can request inter-library loans from other libraries within the region. Inter-library loans is a free service available to all library members. Staff are available to provide assistance to member to locate information within the Gladstone Regional Libraries collection.

>Rooms for hire

>The Heron Room Building:

The Heron Room, the orginally Library building, has been refurbished to a medium size room for hire suitable for up to 60 people. Wheelchair accessible with timber look flooring, separate kitchenette (no heating facitlities available) and large open spaced area make it an ideal room for meetings or small functions. Fitted with a picture hanging system; the Heron Room is available to host small exhibitions (conditions apply). People seeking to host an exhibition are asked to contact the Centre Coordinator at least a month prior to the start date of the exhibition to check availability. >The Mt Larcom Room and Port Curtis Room: Both rooms are situated in the main building, located on the corner of Wyndham and Hayes Avenues: 

Mt. Larcom Room is a large meeting room with vinyl flooring and air-conditioning which features plenty of bench space equipped with two deep double sinks. The room is wheelchair accessible with toilets located on the same level.  

Port Curtis Room is the largest room available at this centre, it is ideal for large functions catering for up to 200 people. The hall has polished timber floor, air-conditioning and access to a balcony. The foyer (not air-conditioned) is available for use with this room by arrangement with the Venue Co-ordinator. The adjoining bar and kitchen are available for hire for an additional fee. Toilet facilities include a disabled and parent room, are centrally located on this level.

>The Castletower Building:

This building has five rooms available for hire; four of these rooms are on the upper floor and have access to a small kitchenette comprising of a sink, bar fridge and an electric jug. Seperate male and female toliets, as well as a disabled toilet are located on this level. Room 5 is located on the bottom floor.
