The Department of Communities have the following Recovery Hubs open today:

Baffle Creek

Wartburg Sport and Recreation Grounds, 569 Coast Road, Baffle Creek

Open from 9am-5pm daily (Until further notice)

Miriam Vale

Miriam Vale Community Centre, 41 Blomfield Street, Miriam Vale

Open from 9am-5pm daily (Until further notice)

Mount Larcom

Mount Larcom Community Centre, 47 Raglan Street, Mount Larcom

Open from 10am-3pm (Until Friday 7th December)

Representatives from the following organisations will be at the Recovery Hubs:

  • Lifeline, Red Cross, Salvation Army
  • Queensland Health
  • Department of Agriculture and Fisheries
  • Queensland Ambulance Service
  • Department of Housing
  • Gladstone Regional Council
  • QFES Community Volunteer Educators

If you’re heading to one of our Community Recovery Hubs, we have Ready Reserves and Australian Redcross workers to assist you with your application. To ensure your application is processed as quickly as possible, please bring your:

• Bank account details
• Medicare card
• Driver’s licence
• Centrelink card
• other identification documents eg passport, electricity bill
