Free listing enables event-related businesses to promote their services
Gladstone Regional Council is offering local businesses associated with events a way to further promote their services.
Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre (GECC) is collating a list of local suppliers to share with event organisers and clients seeking event services.
Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett said inclusion in the suppliers listing would help individuals and organisations promote their business and capabilities.
“GECC is keen to build on existing relationships while also offering new local businesses across our region the opportunity to express interest in working with GECC and our clients,” Councillor Burnett said.
Councillor Rick Hansen said GECC’s Local Event Suppliers Listing would include information on local event service providers, suppliers and entertainers.
“The listing will act as an informative resource enabling external providers to be engaged directly by the client,” Cr Hansen said.
“This is simply a directory of event-related services across the Gladstone Region with no costs involved,” he said.
Local businesses interested in being added to the Local Event Suppliers List need to supply their business name, contact details, a link to their social media sites or website and a short description about services offered.
