Bursary Available for Emergent Artists

Posted: 24/10/2009

If you are an emerging artist nurturing a burning desire to further your studies in the visual arts then help is at hand with the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum Society Golding Bursary for Visual Arts.

With the generous assistance of Mr Cyril Golding, the bursary helps students who have to relocate to a metropolitan area in order to pursue studies in the visual arts.

The recipient receives $1000 each year for a maximum of three years to help defray some of the costs associated with study such as purchase of materials and payment of course fees.

Applicants must be a resident in and/or attended secondary school within the Gladstone Region, North Burnett or Banana Shires and be no more that 22 years old at the commencement of the tertiary course.

For further information please refer to the application form available from this page or contact the Gallery/Museum on 4976 6766.
