Sadly, drowning is the greatest cause of accidental death in children, aged under five in Australia.

Gladstone Aquatic Centre offers a progressive 'Learn to Swim' program for babies aged four months through to levelled lessons and stroke development.

Lessons are held every week day between 9am and 6pm and Saturday mornings from 8am to 1pm in the indoor heated Sister Kenny Memorial Pool at the Gladstone Aquatic Centre. For more information, please call the Aquatic Centre on 4972 6822.

The Gladstone Aquatic Centre will be closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day and opens from 12noon on New Years Day.

The centre will open from 10.00am to 4.00pm on Easter Monday and Anzac Day.

Pensioners' Happy Hour
A joint venture between Gladstone Regional Council and Gladstone Aquatic Centre. Between 8.00am to 9.00am aged persioners can use The Aquatic Centre for free to assist those older members of our community to stay fit and active.
