Local History & Genealogy

The Gladstone City Library has a Local Collection Room which houses the local history collection and the genealogy collection. It contains books, reports, newspaper clippings, microfiche and microfilm, CD ROM and other paraphernalia.

You need to make a booking to use the reader/printer (for microfiche & microfilm) and to use the CD ROM (births, deaths, marriages, English parish records, etc.)

The Genealogical Society, Gladstone Division, Inc. is situated in the George Young Building, Francis Ward Drive, Gladstone and is open to the public.
