This coastline extends approximately 7.1 kilometres and can be acessed by 4 wheel drive only at low tide. Please note: the area is subject to tidal conditions.

Under the Subordinate Local Law 1.20, beach permits are not transferrable. Therefore, if the applicant is wishing to change vehicles, a new permit is to be obtained.

Vehicles are NOT to be driven on the dunes at any time.
It is generally a good rule to drive two hours either side of the low tide time, lessening the chances of intruding upon the dunes.
Conservation Volunteers Australia officers monitor the area for turtle and shore bird nests that are often located in the dunes.

There are no rubbish bins at Lilley's beach, with the public required to take their rubbish with them.

Lilley's Beach is a designated Dog Off Leash area, however, your dog is required to be under voice command at all times. Motorbikes are strictly prohibited in this area.
